I’ve been using different scents for over a year now and this one is by far my fav! It lasts a long time and doesn’t leave much residue. And if possible I’ve noticed my pit area to be lighter!
The regular Smartypits (unscented) made my skin break out, even though it worked great as a deodorant. I tried this as an alternative, and it's been good. No breakouts, and the deodorant works just as well.
After using a different natural brand, I switched to SP and LOVE it! I don’t feel the need to reapply, except after a workout. I’m never smelly (I’m a personally trainer and can get sweaty as the day goes on). Great scents too!
Keeps me dry and smell free all day long!
This is my first full-size deodorant from SmartyPits! I'm a blunt and transparent person, so I'm gonna give it to you straight!
I love the branding and packaging. Aren't we all suckers for a good label? Isn't that how you are first drawn to a bottle of wine? LOL Anyway, I like grey and I like the clear and easy-t0-read branding.
The deodorant was shipped to me in a bubble mailer, which, once you open it, can be reused yet again to mail something of yours somewhere! Reusable packaging is a great way to give more life to an otherwise single-use waste of materials! Yay SmartyPits!
To be fair, I am not an overly smelly person, nor an overly sweaty person. I also bought this in winter, so perhaps I will need to review it again in the hot Texas summer! It seems to handle what I've got going on so far, so that's nice.
Previously, I was using a Dove deodorant. I will say that this deodorant seems more "solid" than more widely known deodorant brands. Meaning, I have to either hold it to my armpit a few seconds to "warm it up," or apply more pressure than I would for the Dove deodorant. I think the quality of the product outweighs the handful of seconds more that it takes to apply, but it's worth noting.
The smell is lovely. Not too overpowering, and not floral or food scented, which is nice. (I'm not one to want my armpits to smell like a field of flowers or a fruit salad.)
I love essential oils, so tea tree is a comforting and familiar scent.
I see no reason to ever buy another brand of deodorant again!
